I live in South Florida near to Miami. I'm seeking a superior, affordable, hurricane wind-rated product to replace or reinforce this old wood frame gable end with. I'm in the middle of hurricane retrofitting and upgrading all my roof strapping and clips. I'm being told by the company doing the work that this one particular wall that faces the east coast is an extremely weak link and that a powerful direct hit hurricane could take it out and maybe the whole house with it. Looking for suggestions on how to deal with it? See picture below the link https://1drv.ms/i/s!AhSguk3r3um8gsQD7-DzJE1koDpghQ?e=vxLn8W

The Journal of Light Construction had an in-depth article on how to do it. I believe University of Florida has it somewhere as well. When we remodeled we incorporated the bracing.
