My wife and I are building an ICF block house, everything has increased in price so much. We are wanting to know how to mix the concrete mortar to fill the block by hand with a small concrete mixer to save us some money on the pour.. we have the block but the concrete mortar to fill it has increased in price so much we won’t have the money to finish our house so we need to know what the mix will be to mix ourselves to save money.. thank you for any help in this Tim Jones

I mixed a yard of concrete once and said I would never do that again....I would double check your math, I really don't think and are saving anything and likely making you build less strong.
How big of place are you doing?

You can’t mix enough fast enough you will have cold joints everywhere NOT a good idea!
