Hello Russ,

There are a few projects going on in the USA that might be of interest to you. A Staybridge Suites Hotel & Condominiums in Milwaukee, WI, broke ground earlier in 2007 that will  feature several environmentally friendly "green building" features, including a green roof.

The Merchants Walk at Zion, a 650,000 square-foot mixed-use development in Louisa, VA, that will break ground by the end of 2007, will include environmentally friendly building elements include solar panels, recycled building materials, a rainwater collection system and a green roof.

And there are preliminary plans for a development by the Wayans brothers to  to build an environmentally friendly, state-of-the-art movie production studio, urban retail village, creative business park, educational fun zone for children and a digital arts center on 45 acres in Oakland, CA.

Hope this helps!
