Hello sun worshipers!
My project is a 1600 sq ft SIPS home(two-story, new build, planning stage) that must be 100% off-grid.
The big questions are:
1. sizing and pricing the pv system to provide power for: 2. the HVAC system (geothermal?) 3. the water pump for the well 4. the deep freeze, refrigerator, lights, etc.
Here is a link to the home plans: http://www.slhouseplans.com/exec/action/plans/browsemode/details/filter/Flrs.0%3bNm.sl-299/hspos/slnet/page/1/planid/21487/planname/SL299/section/homeplans?pvs=tot.eNozBAAAMgAy
Home will be located in 30401...west of Savannah, GA....hot weather!
Thanks for any direction on this.

Not to sway you from this forum, it's great for geothermal and things associated, but you might want to ask that same question over on the Wind & Sun message board. They will help you with sizing a PV system and battery bank (you need to know all your loads first though) and well pumps and freezers / refers.
