I know two people who've carried it for a little while. Both haven't seen the DH yet. The casement is 4 9/16" with the frame composed of two pieces fastened/joined together. They said the pricing is variable and not sure what to make of it. As soon as I hear more, I'll advise.

I have to speak up here. We just moved from an all Weathershield home that we built with their most expensive top quality low e you name it we had it windows. Very very poor performance on both the mechanicals (for 42 windows, all new handles need the 2nd year, all new latches the 3rd year; windows going off tilt for no reason and needing constant adjustments even after the Weathershield rep came to check it out and said it was not an install problem) and the seals. Leaking, and losing seals. Had 9 windows replaced in 6 years and others with glass replaced. Even tho under warranty, non-stop problems.
Next we moved into a condo in a Belgravia group built complex and you guessed it, they had the same era (circa 2003) Weathershield windows and sure enough we have spent over $1,500 on replacement glass, new seals and weatherstriping only produced for our windows by the Company. 12 sets of homeowners on the warpath as all our doors and windows leak.
So, no matter what they say on the fiberglass, do your searches in your area re how they service them. IN downtown Chicago, (the Loop area) only one dealer handles the repairs and you wait months while water pours in.
Ok, rant over. Back to my sweet self now.

Sorry to hear, at the same time do I have the sweetest deal on new windows just for you...and today only..lol. Weathershield has about 50 dealers in Illinois so that is surprising to hear. I know one of their former regional sales managers and should be meeting up within the next month or so, I'll see what he has to say.

Thank You for your replies. I orderd the Crestline fiberglass windows with the tripple pane glass. Crestline is made by Weathershield but at a much lower cost.
