I have three new Smooth Star Thermatrue Fiberglass doors that need to be painted. Any recommendations on the fiberglass and the wood edges? Is primer needed on fiberglass?

I'd go with latex over oil - it's stinks less and is easier to get off of your hands later. I've used Benjamin Moore Ironclad in the past without any primer and it's held up for several years. I don't see why you couldn't use it on the wood edges as well.
