We have had issues with Hydro-Temp's residential geothermal system and their ability and response in resolving it. First, it was misdiagnosed as a compressor board failure, then it was determined that the compressor needed replacing - we have been without A/C for 7 weeks an no clear answers as to ship date of new unit. Any experiences with Hydro-temp correlate to this?

Are they sending a new unit or just a new compressor?

I did not have good luck with Hydro-temp, I replaced my 2009 unit in 2016. Back then they only had a 1 year warranty.

They talk a good game, their units can do it all blah blah... I have no experience with the newer variable speed systems.

They claim to custom make each unit, so you may be waiting for that to happen.

I liked my original unit, that's why I spent $4500 repairing it. The closest installer that handled Hydro-Temp was 1 1/2 hrs away, so everytime we needed someone to come out there were lots of travel charge $$.
