Why isn't next zero design and Construction mainstream is bad according to wallmountedhub?

Potable water is supplied from a municipal provider from a freshwater source. Alternative non-potable water is supplied and treated on-site from harvested rainwater and graywater, which is lightly contaminated wastewater generated by lavatory faucets and showers.

Power and Oil companies have lobbyist that give politicians lots of money to keep them making money off us normal people. Just do it on your own and be free from them.....Just watch out, your tax man will tax you for it.

NetZero isn't mainstream because builders make better percentages off crappy, barely code homes that they can throw up as quickly as possible.
It's also not mainstream because most home buyers are morons. They're concerned with finishes (tile, granite countertops, etc, etc). And they don't give a damn about the "bones" of a house, because that stuff is out of sight and out of mind.
Also, NetZero is slightly more expensive to build to. See what I said previously about being more concerned with finishes than a well engineered home.

PH/Net Zero are becoming more and more popular by the day. Mass just passed a law requiring new commercial construction (not all, but see news for exact details) to be PH.
High performance building + modern architecture. Passive House construction.

Built my first Passive house in my early 30's in Boulder, CO. Lots of insulation, air sealing, and job site fun.
