I am building a passive house and do not want to ventilate out through the wall. Plus, the stove will be placed in an island where we don't want a hood. I cannot seem to find a downdraft range that filters and recirculates the air. Any suggestions?

Have you ever had one? I've lived in 2 homes that had downdraft ranges and they are horrid.
