Anyone here ever dealt with a PACE program for energy efficiency loans?

I came across this when looking at the Skystream wind turbine website and was curious if it's even worth looking into.

"Property-Assessed Clean Energy (PACE) financing effectively allows property owners to borrow money to pay for energy improvements. The amount borrowed is typically repaid via a special assessment on the property over a period of years"  I guess this is done on a state and local level?

I've never even heard of this.  Any feedback is appreciated.

PACE has potential, but is currently experiencing pushback, growing pains, or whatever you want to call it.

In some situations, it might be a good option. In others, less so.
