Concentric venting of high efficiency condensing boiler can increase combustion efficiency slightly. Concentric vents have their greatest effect in assuring reliable ignition...a factor in very cold or high altitude installations especially when propane fired.

Thanks. It is natural gas. 12 foot run which I am guessing minimizes any efficiency gain from concentric. Any efficiency considerations BESIDES piping heat loss to locating modcon in semiconditioned space?
