Is there a green insulation out there that is similar to a solid foam product, light weight and dense? I am gearing up to build a 172 square foot tiny home on a trailer. My goal is to use the plans I've purchased as a rough start for guidence and turn this project into a cost effective and green project that will have many years of life. It calls for solid foam sheets for insulation for two reasons I guess. One is the obvious R value being higher, and two, to help fill spaces tight and increase the strength of the home while in travel or harsh conditions. I need this home to last for at least 15 years (prefer longer) to get me through med school.

Rigid foam with fiberglass on each side of it has been used. Similar to a surfboard.
