To All Architects, Designers and Specifiers: The following information is critical to be noted and applied when you are looking at utilizing magnesium oxide board in a project. 1: Always clearly specify the product Name: ResCom #CMA-CM40009 for Australasia projects & ER31004 for America,Canada and Latin America projects. This will assure your projects receive fully tested, inspected and accredited products suitable for your projects needs. READ THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION: During 2014 MgO Corp carried out extensive testing which has led to our organization no longer accepting mgo manufacturer or suppliers stated performances of the products they make & distribute. Comprehensive test data proves that over 95% of mgo products are not suitable for the applications they are promoted & sold to the consumer for. WARNING: The SGS Accredited testing under the American ICC-ES Standards for use as an Exterior and Wet Area Lining (ASTM C1185/86) clearly ruled out the use of (ALL) tested Common / Standard mgo products !! That's correct, All High Quality Test Samples failed to pass all the ASTM guidelines notably water permeability. As a resulted MgO Corp has developed a full range of specific engineered "Fit for Purpose" products that have been fully tested & approved under all aspects of ASTM C1185/86, accredited by CodeMark & under ICC for use in all areas of building & construction in America, Australia, New Zealand, Malaysia & Sweden including Exterior & Wet Area Linings. MgO Corp over the past 6yrs has invested heavily into understanding all the characteristics & performances of mgo so as to firstly mitigate risk to our company & our clients and secondly to be able to deliver a product that will truly deliver the performances we promote to the best of its ability. The journey has been at times challenging, disappointing and upsetting to find out that the vast majority of magnesium oxide board manufactures, trading houses and on selling groups have absolutely no idea how or if their products will actually perform when applied in a building..... "Other than the worst mgo product will not burn" & this is not good enough!!! MgO Corp has found out the hard way also that the vast majority of supporting ISO & Testing Documents supplied by so called manufactures & trading houses are fake or been changed to show a result the buyer has asked for. The sales pitches out there are nothing short of confusing and many very misleading. From mgo board that suppose to exudes water vapor into the air to quench a fire (we would all love to see this. But it is scientifically impossible) • People claiming to be the founders of making mgo as a sheathing & patents over a process that has been around for a lot longer than they have. • Claims of structural performance just because five people can stand on a panel. • The list goes on (just don't be scammed by the slick sales pitches & empty factual authenticated data) Our advice to all Specifiers, architects & designers; Is to take 5 minutes and ring the appropriate 3rd Party accreditation authority as well as the testing laboratory & gain clear confirmation that the products you are buying are indeed genuine & approved for the applications you wish to use it in. The above is meant to open your eyes to be aware of what is really going on in the global mgo world and has been doing so unchecked for to long. Like any product you can get good and bad. Just be careful and be aware "that cheap can turn into expensive" when building. A Fully Accredited and 3rd Party Audited Magnesium Oxide Board Product that has all the Acoustic, Impact, Fire, Water, VOC & Structural Engineering Data will deliver to your next project amazing long term performance well beyond the traditional Gypsum, FC Drywall & you will enjoy a healthier and safer place to live and work for generations to come. MgO Corp can be contacted any time through our website if you require our assistance. www.mgoboard.com.au

Why don't you try formatting those big posts so someone will actually read them.

I've noticed that big unwieldy self-interested posts like this can get removed for spam. I'd suggest you put some effort into it on your own.

This board often doesn't respond to carriage returns and makes your formatting look like crap. MgO Corp, I think it is not your fault on the formatting.....ICF is just being crabby.

A lack of carriage returns is usually due to the browser being used to make the post. Internet Explorer has a setting that can be changed to make the formatting compatible which will then show paragraphs. In IE select Tools, Compatibility View to turn it on.

You will notice that plenty of people have figured out how to do it. When you are a guest somewhere it is incumbent upon you to work and play well with others.
