"When planning an energy-efficient home, the choice of materials is crucial for both thermal mass and durability. I’ve been researching how natural stones like filetto marble provide a timeless aesthetic while maintaining indoor temperature stability. For high-traffic areas or outdoor transitions, grey granite stands out as an incredibly resilient option that requires minimal chemical maintenance over its long lifespan. I’d love to hear from the community: How are you balancing the 'luxury' feel of natural stone with 'green' building certifications like LEED or passive house standards?"

We usually balance it by using stone selectively (high-impact areas) and focusing on local sourcing + low-embodied energy materials.
You still get the luxury look, while keeping within LEED/Passive House goals by prioritizing the overall envelope and efficiency first.
