I have something confuse about this, why toilet need to have waterproofing system while living room no need?its that just a common sense that toilet is always damp or is there any other explanation?Thanks

I think you must be confusing something that you read. Taking it out of context, so to speak. Please tell us where you read this, so we can more properly understand your confusion.

ermm..actually i didnt read it from other place..just that i just put myself in waterproofing field..and normally they did waterproofing for toilet and bathroom but not in living room..so i guess is there any proper explanation about this or just a common sense by where it because bathroom is always wet or because it has downpipe which easily subjected to leaking?

What city, state or country requires a bathroom (toliet) to be waterproofed?  Are you wanting to waterproof the floors, walls, or ceiling?  Are you asking about using a membrane under tile in a bathroom?  I am afraid that you will have to tell us more about what you are trying to do before we can answer your question.

This is a good read. As a living room is not always below the first floor, there is no need for waterproofing in the living room.
