We are doing a large ranch home and the subfloor will be 3/4" plywood. The subfloor may be exposed for an extended period of time. A few years ago we used a breathable waterproof membrane that we rolled over the deck to protect it (kinda like wallpaper) and it worked great. I can't remember the name of it or who made it. Does anyone know who makes the product?

Thanks!!

I don't know about that, but I'd recommend using Advantec (sp?) subfloor.

And, BTW - Advantec also meets certain green building criteria - I believe it is formaldehyde (sp?) free.

We had this situation four years ago, and used Thompson's Waterseal applied with a roller.
