i plan to install a ground source heat pump in a daylight basement. i'm remodeling the utility room it'll be installed in. my question is about getting rid of condensate water. the discharge pipe is below ground level. should i install a pump, and just dump it outside, or is there a code compliant way to hook it into my household drain septic system. i know it's just water, so it won't be an issue for the septic, but i'm not a serious plumber, and plumbing code has bitten me before...
the heat pump will be internally trapped, so i'd like to just run pipe with appropriate incline through the wall, and stub out next to the heat pump. once the sheetrock goes in, hard pipe it to the heat pump and be done. abs the whole way.
does anyone see a code issue with my plan?

It would be allowed under IL plumbing code but individual jurisdictions are all a little different when it comes to enforcement. I would install a clean-out plug and a union if it is hard piped directly to A/H.
