Hello all,

This is my first time on the site.  I've been looking for a product that will seal off my A/C Vents in the winter time and I finally found one.  The Elima-Draft Company has come up with a plastic cover that is held in place over the vents using magnets.  This cover is insulated, durable, affordable and really works.  If can be attached to most steel, aluminum and vinyl vents.  It has eliminated cold drafts and they are keeping my home warmer.  If your interested, go to their website www.elimadraft.com or you can google them and find where they are for sale.

I just wanted to pass this on because of the increased prices of home heating oil.  Every little bit helps.

Thanks,
Bob

Bob, Thanks for the info. I went on google and searched Elima Draft and found i could order on line at a bunch of different locations so i ordered from www. Sears.com and i can't wait to get them. I get such drafts from my vents and my return. I noticed it said they will work on aluminum which is wonderful.

Thanks again

Bob i just got my Elima Draft covers last night and i put them up and i noticed a difference right away, you were right how easy they go up wiyh no tools and how nice they look. My wife thinks that they are the best thing since sliced bread. Now she doesn't have to wait for me to do it she can put them up herself.

Thanks again BOb for finding them

Consider investigating why cold drafts are present at these grills and registers - air leaking into ductwork from unconditioned spaces?
