Q I have my shallow frost protected foundation ready to pour. The vapor barrier is down, 4” of type IX EPS foam is down, re-rod is in, it’s formed up and it rains 1”. How do I drain my foundation” swimming pool” without ruining the vapor barrier? How much water can remain in the “swimming pool” without affection the concrete and upward moisture migration? Thanks!

Shop vac to suck out as much as you can and a leaf blower to blow the surface dry.
