I had a 24x32 addition built on the backside of my garage to house a wood shop and did the contracting myself. The building was designed and erected by FG Laminate, also known as Forever Green Laminates, of Brattleboro, VT. Their designer was a nightmare to work with because he constantly made mistakes in placement and side of openings for windows and doors. Be sure to review specs carefully if doing your own contracting. They also used hemlock beams to hold up the roof that had rough edges that I did not find until after the final inspection because of loose building materials left leaning on one of the beams. In retrospect I should have retained 10% of the cost because their promises to rectify some of the problems have been unfulfilled.
