My framer has never framed a ICF home. I noticed that he has not attached the wood framing to the ICF walls where the wood wall meets the ICF. What should I have him do to secure the wall to the ICF wall? The walls are attached only at the top plate now. I did do a search but could not find anything specific to my question. Thanks in advance for the help.

MikeICF,
Have your framer slip a piece of 6" or 8" flashing behind the stud you are trying to attach to the ICF wall. Cut it long enough to catch at least 2 webs on each side of stud. Screw flashing into ICF and then stud into flashing.
Actually, you are attached at the bottom plate and then again at the top plate, so when sheetrock is hung..........you will be trapping the stud wall in question with the sheetrock, providing it's a center wall and not on the corner and providing the sheetrockers cover the ICF wall first.

Mike, if the stud is fastened at the top and bottom threw the plates and is riding fairly tight to the ICF wall just pry (bow) the stud out in the center and squirt foam adhesive between the stud and ICF and release pry. If the stud is floating a little put a jamb board between the first and second studs.
