Anyone have any experience with Protecto Wrap Stucco/EIFS tape? Looks like it might be good for flashing windows in ICF.

Mac: Not sure where you have found Protecto wrap but sounds like a Windloc product we used a few years ago. If it is a stucco finish peel and stick for foundation terminations I would say there are better less expensive window wraps available from numerous manufactures including Tamko and Grace.

I found it on the Protecto web site. It's a flashing P&S made specifically for flashing in EIFS installs and specifically rated for use on foam. Regular Protecto flashing P&S is at HD, as well as Vycor.

Is the Vycor material compatible with styro? Grace literature and ICC report give no indication whatever that it is.

I'm still waiting to hear comments about Dupont Flexwrap. I want to consider using it for window sill pans.

Stick builders around here aren't paying much attention to waterproofing. The lumber yard I'm working with stocks 9" Vycor P&S, but they don't even have a sample of the Grace Vycorner for window sill corners. None of their customers have ever asked for it. They used to sell 6" Vycor mostly but inspectors apparently forced builders to go to 9".

Nobody around here stocks Tamco Moisture barrier. Apparently this is Vycor country!

Mac, send me an Email related to this and I will ask a local expert which brand he uses. I do remember him saying it was the best ICF sticking brand he had found and it might have been Vycor.
