I would like for some reccommendations on books pertaining to ICF Building.  I would like books that pertain to the actual structural and building practices concerned with ICF.  I am not looking for a book that explains the benefits or compares the different types of building methods, or how to install the blocks.  What i am looking for is more of a reference to ICF building, dealing with the structural issues and building design aspects and the concrete factors.

Thanks

BBICF,

I don't know if you have one, but the "Prescriptive Method for Insulating Concrete Forms in Residential Construction" is probably one of the best books (paperback) that you can read regarding the structural issues, building design aspects, and the concrete factors that you mentioned.

It is a relatively dry read, but I believe that it should meet most if not all of your needs.

BBICF,

Please see the works by Peter Vanderwerf.  The hard cover with the green cover I believe is the "bible" for ICF construction, technology.  The suppliers listed maybe dated but the core knowledge presented is identical and can be applied to any ICF design.  This is a must for any ICF library.  Also PCA's Prescriptive Guide is a big must.  It has engineering data but also much useful information.

Here is the link to Peter's work on Amazon

Sorry, could not get the link to work.  Just type in his last name.
