Guys, I just want you to know how thankfull I am for all of you who have chimed in to give your opinion on my building project. I started out with a double wall idea (cost). Even tho some of you teased me, some of you supported it. Soon after my builder was crunching numbers and we found out that we could do a TF verticle ICF and when you figure in the big costs of insulating that 12" double wall, the price was VERY comparable. We have decided to go the TF Verticle route, they were ordered this morning and should be here via truck in under two weeks. Ive since asked about floor joist, insulating ceilings, window bucks, and im sure ill have more. Anyhow, im a rookie and I appreciate all the important advice ive recieved. I just hope that someday I can contribute back with my experiences.

I personally appreciate the research you have done and the results you will enjoy. It's owners like you who become the poster childs for ICF since you realize it's more than a dollar that builds a house.
