I am doing a 3 coat stucco with 2 moisture barriers over icf.  I am questioning:
where to locate expansion strips in the field.. base it on sq ft??
is one is required against cast concrete window surrounds.  The surrounds are fixed to the concrete core
How to attach and finish eps corbels and details?
How is the weep screed handled at the grade?  Code says it to be located 4" above grade or 2" above paved..
Thanks

where is the project?
i can send you pictures of a 35 year old 5 story condo finished with traditional stucco in daytona beach florida...
chicken wire screwed to the polysteel forms...
no vapor barrier, drains or expansion joint needed there...
stucco over the slab on grade transition....
just pressure clean and paint every 10 years...

in addition, a 40.000 sf city building department in port st. lucie florida, done in 2003... same way... metal lath, no paper/moisture barrier, screwed to/over polysteel 4000 - 8" forms

Assuming you have selected a "stucco" product to use, have the mfg do the detailing for you. That's one of the things the sales person can do, usually.

If you are doing what I call a traditional cement, lime, sand stucco mix which is dumped in the yard by bags and cubic yards, then it sounds like you don't have the stucco knowledge you need to establish your control joints?? I know I can't do joint spacing, but there are some products which per mfg specs do not need control joints??

I would check around a little more before you jump in!
