i HAVE JUST CONSTRUCTED AN ICF FOUNDATION. IT IS WATERPROOFED BUT I'M LOOKING FOR A GOOD FINISH OTHER THAN THE TROWEL-ON TYPES. I WAS THINKING OF PRESSURE TREATED PLYWOOD OR CEMENT BOARD. I LIVE IN MAINE. ANY SUGGESTIONS/PRODUCTS. THANKS

What you like cosmetically is key but cement board is a fine choice. I personally like a stone veneer skirt with cement board and batton above to the roof line. Make sure you focus on the water touching the cement board near the ground. From what I'v eseen and heard, that can create problems down the road.

But man you live in main, why aren't you using cedar shakes? :)
