is anybody made a comparison between the main players (Amvic,Quad lock, fox blocks or others) in terms of cost, service, support etc'? i wonder who is graded first...

ICF Builder Magazine does a comparison chart, you can find an older one on there website, but the new one just came out. It does not rank them and ranking is very subjective and depends on area. Check out the top 10 thread.

As far as I am aware there is no comparison for ICFs in terms of cost, service & support.
ICF Builder magazine has a chart that looks at manufactureres from a technical aspect but is incomplete and inacurate IMHO.
you should email them all (manufacturers) a set of plans with 3 or 4 questions and see who gives you the most elaborate support, speed of response... price (apples for apples)...

Virtually all ICFS should perform the same provided the foam thickness and density are the same, one to another.
I have worked with many different ICFs since 1992. For the most part they are very similar. A couple stand out in my experience but if you are looking for a brand to use go interview installers who have worked with different forms; an installer who also sells forms may have a bias.
