Hi,

can anyone recommend some ICF installers in eastern Ontario?  (I am not far from Alexandria).

I am looking for some quotes for a detached garage/workshop, just over 1000 sq ft.

Thanks,
Ord

There is a company which distributes and install. I believe they are located near Orleans. Call EMM Group @ 613 835 2600 . They have been around for a while and seem knowledgable, so I found.
Good Luck.

Thanks for the suggestions! I'll follow up with those two and see what they can offer.

Thanks for your question, Ord. I have a similar project under 900 sf and am located in the GTA. Sorry I can't help with a recommendation because I'm still doing research. But please let us know how things turn out. Perhaps you could let us in on the ball park estimates that you receive.

Well, so far I have just received one quote for the walls. It comes out to $25K for the walls, 26'x40'x12' (1584 sq ft of wall surface).

Much appreciated, Ord!! Some where on this forum, I can recall seeing ball parks of $11-15 per sf of wall in the US market. However, not too much confirmation of Ontario rates seem to exist. Does you quote exclude the foundation mud and pour?

My project has a tiny footprint 15 x 23 feet on 2.5 stories, so it should be interesting to see the quotes that come in.

Yes, that quote is walls only, no excavation, footings or slab.

12 to 15 is what I would subject for block, concrete, reinforcing steel, and install. These numbers are from past projects.
