I have 45 years of energy-wise design & construction under my tool-belt. I am happy to discuss what I have learned with persons new to construction (for a reasonable period of time). During my final 10 years in actual construction I built only with ICFs. My clients from those 10 years are ecstatic about their houses. In my opinion there is no method more economical or more earth-friendly than ICF construction. I realize my last sentence may well engender a lot of comments; comments are good. I have much less experience and came to the same conclusion more quickly. Just kidding. I agree, one cannot built better or provide more value. All you have to do is ask a homeowner. I too have a long list ecstatic homeowners and commerical clients. Regards.

C_ICF, I think 35 years of construction experience before shifting to ICF exclusively lends quite a bit of crediblilty.

How many ICF builds would you say it took you to reach your desired level of compentency, i.e., minimum hiccups and the ability to quickly resolve unforeseen problems?

Did your crew have a continuous core of people or did you have to regularly add and train new folks to your standards?
