This topic hasn't been brought up in awhile. For all you GC's that build with ICF, are you using more helix now or any at all? Using mostly helix with rebar around openings? Just curious where this product is being used if at all in ICF.

Bump.
Any users on here ?
I think the concept is great for everything but lintels.
I'm concerned about pumpability..ie having the helix get stuck on a mudcup and scoring the chrome in the material cylinders of the pump ?

I thought I commented on this the other day, but the post is not here. Essentially, I thnk it's a great idea, and we have seen it permitted on some government jobs here in Virginia, but the contractors don't seem to use it much. People are very conservative in this state and tend to shy away from newer technologies until they have been in use for a long time elsewhere. Typically, they take the position that they would prefer to wait a few decades to see what mistakes other people make before they try something.

I'm very much interested to know more about this product. I would like to know whether this product is approved by code by not using rebar, just the helix?

We've used a few pallets of it.  Pumps fine, flows less in the wall.  We mix in the back of the truck on site.

Have a thousand pounds on hand in N. Wyoming if anyone wants to try it.
