has anyone used gigacrete directly on their icf walls interiorly?  how about plaster? did you use drywall first if you used plaster?  thanks

Do you have any framed interior partition walls that will need to be covered?  If so, what were you planning on covering those walls with?  Drywall?  What about the ceilings?  Drywall also?

If you search for gigacrete patents you see it is just magnesium chloride.
The stated price is high even for a magnesium chloride blend.
Of course, if one asks a question they then get called "rabbit" or some other term of endearment.
I see the fire test that was done and I stand behind my statement that it could never pass the E-119 . In that test the conduction would melt the EPS and one would have issues. I think it is irresponsible to advocate this as being "Safe" just because it passed a test selected to not reveal it's weak points.
Historically magnesium chloride has been done before--always with corrosion problems or leaching issues. Have you done tests with the issue of corrosion of the suggested nails and the corner beads??
You have been around a while, have you had any problems you want to tell us about?

hi ray,
I was the original poster of this question and you appear to be well versed.  We are not builders, nor do we want to be.  we are looking for quality over quantity, durability over cheapness blah blah.  so have you used plastermax before?  what do you think the learning curve is to make it look nice?  are you a dealer?  what is your experience with icf's?
we used nudura blocks.  we live in a very small town in alaska.  noone has heard of it, so we have a shipping cost to deal with as well but it seems like it would skip the step of using the drywall and then plaster and paint.
there is too much info out there and hard to dissern when you are not in the industry.  it sounds like you are into the plastermax.  have you used it on your home?  thank you for your time
