I installed rails to hold the first row of ICF blocks into place.   What's up with the interlocking teeth on the bottom of the first row of ICF blocks?   Do you cut them off with a saw?    It seems like air/moisture could get into the house from the bottom if you don't cut them off.

No need to cut them off

Below grade you will be sealing the wall up to waterproof the area

If you have gaps of concern you can seal them with spray foam

Actually it's 4 feet above grade.  I'm in a flood zone and they made me build the house on a 4 foot high filled/compacted retaining wall.

Anyway, I got the answer that I needed.   After construction I'll just buy a can or two of great stuff and spray it in the cavities.   Thanx.

What type of blocks have teeth on the bottom? You're not upside down, are you?

All of them, to match and interlock with the teeth on top.
