Would a 32" ICF wall, on bedrock, require bracing for the pour?

Hello: Do all heights of ICF foundation walls (crawl space), directly on bedrock, require bracing when doing the concrete pour? My wall will be 1 block high (16") on 3 sides and 2 blocks high (32") on the fourth side. Should I try to level the bedrock first by using something like 'fast foot'? Given the unevenness of the bedrock, is drilling and pinning with rebar required? Thanks for any ideas or tips, Rob.

I would recommend drilling and pinning rebar into the bedrock, I would also suggest if you don't want a footing, sculpt and fit the block to the bedrock and spray foam in place to lock it in. You will need to run a 2x at minimum around the top of the ICF and a few kickers to keep the top straight

Thanks Chris! :) Does this mean 2x's on both sides at the top? What do you mean by 'kickers'? Will spray foam, I assume from cans, prevent blow-outs at the bottom of both a one course & two course ICF wall? Sorry for the newbie-ish questions but I have never used ICF's, or even built at house. What sort of drill do I need to use for the rebar holes in the granite? Rob.

Usually 2x on one side is fine, a kicker is a piece of 2x from the 2x ribbon around the top on an angle and secured to the ground to stabilize the wall. The cans of spray foam to the lock the block to the bedrock can help prevent blowouts, it depends on after the sculpting how far the web is from the rock, you may have to do additional form support with 2x material to hold it all together during the pour. What you are undertaking is not as simple as it sounds. The more time you spend checking everything the better the chance of a successful pour. Since you have not done ICF before, your supplier has some onus to ensure you are doing the job correctly, although many don't and this is what leads to ICF getting a bad name. Just take your time and send me pics if you want and I will see if anything is really out of whack prior to pour, but this really is the responsibility of your supplier.

To drill the granite you will need a Hilti SDS drill with a 3/4" bit. After you drill the holes, brush them out, blow them out, brush again, blow again, insert epoxy and then your dowel
