Hello all in the process of a diy ICF house. 30x80 ranch. I will most likely being using fox block because of local suppler. It will be a full basement and ICF main level. Ive searched and cant seemed to find a pour duration between the basement pour and the main level pour. I'm trying to estimate a construction schedule. So after pouring the basement is there a recommended waiting period before the next level pour? Thanks for your time

The pour duration will depend on a number of factors. This time of year it's all about the temp. Cold and wet means the CC stays green for a longer time. I use a water reducer year round, this reduces the time the CC stays green. There are no set rules. One easy test is to take a flat screw driver go about half way up the wall, stick it in and give it a twist, if it goes in easily leave the walls alone . With an icf it dries two ways, thru the top and footing

Concrete reaches approx 40% of compressive strength after 4 days and approx 70% after a week. I would wait a few days before installing the floor system. Assuming this takes a couple days (or more) and then another day to waterproof and backfill, you will be at a week before starting to place the main floor blocks. I recommend installing floor system prior to backfill (especially if a 6" form is used below grade) if you have a higher grade height. This gives the basement walls lateral support at the top and provides extra strength against the force of the ground.

If you are aggressive use concrete that is cured in 24 hours, than you can the pour the slab next day.
Are you planning to make a record.

Thanks guys. I'm planning on using a 8" block for the walkout basement and 6" block for the main level. I will definitely put the conventional floor on and then waterproof and backfill which will take approximately 3-4 days. I just didn't want to go up with the main floor to soon.
