A friend and I are each building houses this fall and would like to build ICF houses if it's possible financially. We both will build houses that are approx 3000 sq ft. Location is southern/lower Delaware.

We will consider a GC, but both have experience with building and renovating so prefer to find a sub for the ICF portion only.

We're comparing with 2x6 construction. Has anyone built in this area and can provide general costs for building ICF?

We're the first wave of several ICF houses. I also have a neighbor is definitely building ICF once she sells her house and two family members who likely will build ICF next year if my friend and I do it. Cost/sq ft will be key.
