Release Wax on the inside of the forms makes it possible to remove what ever form you use. Plywood forms tend to survive better than foam ones. It is also possible to have stacked block walls. I have seen High strength stackable bricks that are 4 inches in width but I have not used them as internal wall. We used them as an external fence.

zehboss. Thank you. Waxing or something similar sounds smart to do.
I am planning to dump the stripped ICF form walls and go Nudura Series One single-sided plywood forms for exterior walls and conventionally formed 6" and 4" snap tied or custom-tied interior walls.
If I do not find one on this site, I am thinking to start a new thread for the single-sided form technology and applications. |

try IntegraSpec forms they are a knock down panel so you only have to use one side and then they have an insert you can attach to wood, go to my website and look at the Merryman house gnphouse-dot-com or you can yoututbe gnpbuild, its very expensive to waste foam like that and its not necessary. |

Polycrete makes what's called an "Elevator Panel". Used primarily for elevator shafts where you don't want foam on the inside. It has EPS on one side and our patented wire mesh on the other. Plywood is attached to the fastening strips on the wire mesh side. The 96" long blocks come in 12"; 18" and 24" heights and standard 6"; 8"; 10" or 12" core size. Of course, we can make any core size you need from 5-5/8" to 24". Choose from two EPS thicknesses 2.5" or 1.75" Also comes in Big Block Premium with Neopor |

There is a simpler solution. I tried to load a picture but it's too big. You can use one of the vertical icf webs and attach you roof sheathing to one side. We use 5" foam on the other side to give you a great r-value. I developed it to compete directly with the poured wall companies. I'm in zone 7 and the r-value on a poured wall has to be R-15, so 5" of foam more than covers the requirement. It's extremely budget friendly |
