I'm preparing to align and plumb up some ICF foundation walls. As we don't have any type of scaffolding system to use, I was thinking about using angled kickers attached to adjustable turnbuckles to align the walls vertically and, more to the point, to keep the walls plumb after the pour. Does anyone on the ICF board have a brand and/or source for turnbuckles that you would recommend?

Yes, but their mates, the Zonts, have me confused. The walls in question are already sheathed, so I don't see any benefit in using the Zonts and their associated bracing...

I'm not sure where you are but you can rent turnbuckles at Little Falls Lumber on 146A in Clifton Park. Or any form rental company near you.

You don't have to use the zonts. If you just need to brace the wall, you could use 2X4's as kickers screwed to the wall(thru the sheathing). The zuckle would mate with another 2X4 strut to allow fine tuning the wall alignment. Using any 2X4's in the rest of the project? The bracing components can be turned back into the project so the net cost is just the zuckle, and you can probebly sell those when you are done with them...

Rent the braces. Find them and rent them. This will prevent a lot of trouble in the future.
