Kind of having a debate between engineering minds. On an 8" I-Joist depth (10 inch form) with a 4" slab on top (#4 bar). At a 24 foot span between ICF walls.
One #5 rebar on the bottom of the joist or two #6 rebars on the bottom of the joists?

Data point for you...We have 20 inch floor trusses,3/4 osb, 1-1/2 inch concrete, and 20' foot span....We still have some motion in our kitchen area. I will be sistering some floor trusses with 2x8's to try to eliminate it.
