I am trying to get a building permit and the county plan reviewer is telling me according to the 2018 IRC Building Code that we will have to install a termite shield of some sort on the inside and outside of a crawlspace foundation (all exterior walls to roofline) the location is in Maryland. Has anyone had to deal with this? This is the first time we have been required to do this IRC 2018 Code Book R318.1 Table R301.2 (1)
