Trying to get some input on the best synthetic stucco for ICF walls?

I found the company U-Stucco which seems like an interesting good production. They even claim an R-Value rating when applied at 1" thick.

StuccoMax out of Nevada looks like a good product also.

How many coats does it take?

I prefer the one or two coat pass max, way less in labor costs than 3+ coat systems.

I'm surprised nobody has heard of the U-Stucco or used it. Thought it would have better exposure...

Dryvit's TAFFS system is designed for direct application over ICF. Both Dryvit and Nudura are owned by Tremco so compatibility is guaranteed and warrantees between the 2 systems can overlap.

Are we all talking about EIFS stucco or traditional hard-coat stucco?
Pardon my ignorance, I'm a new member, homeowner embarking on an ICF home project.

I've had great success with Dryvit's synthetic stucco on ICF projects. It offers excellent durability and a variety of finishes, plus the added insulation benefits are fantastic. Anyone else had good results with other brands? Always eager to learn about new options!

From what I understand, you pretty much have to use a synthetic one coat product. I've been researching this for a recoat project, and what I've concluded is that a traditional stucco system is going to be too heavy. When traditional stucco is used on a wood framed wall, the nailing schedule for the wire becomes pretty important due to the weight. I offer this on the understanding that it's just research - I have zero experience with stuccoing ICF's!
