My husband and I are currently receiving bids to build a timber frame home in Defiance, MO. We have received 2 SIP bids to date - Thermocore of MO and Sure Tight (PA). Can anyone give me a review of either company? I have seen several postings from a company that does not recommend Thermocore. I would like to know why. I also would like to hear from other's experiences with either company. Is there a strong preference out there for EPS vs. polyurethane?

Thank you

Please send us your e-mail and we can give you a bid.  We have been building with SIP about 16 years and sell for several companies and can give you a good bid

I've used SureTight, in 06, and can recommend them and their product. Fast efficient, and well priced. Shipping however, might be a bit high from PA to MO. They have an agreement with 84 Lumber so if you order it through the local 84 there might be a break on the shipping?

I have purchased from SureTight on several occasions and have never had a problem with  them.  They are very knowledgable and their pricing is fair

Try your search on the SIPschool map
http://www.sipschool.org/default.asp
You'll have over a hundred SIP providers to choose from. The map/ database also gives some specifics on the types of products offerred as well as the level of service.
