I will be starting construction of an ICF and SIP passive solar home in the Golden Colorado area.  This is for my family and replacing a house that was lost in a fire.  I see lots of interest in this forum on how these components go together and would welcome anyone interested to stop by.  I have designed and built 20+ sip homes since 1992.  We have gone the route of factory fabricated and engineered and have settled on the process of doing our own panel design, engineering and onsite fabrication.  This desicion is based on cost savings and having the flexibility to modify the structure if (when) the homeowner changes their mind.  We use jumbo panels and will use the largest panel possible to eliminate as much lumber as possible.  We should be starting excavation in 1 to 2 weeks and again welcome anyone wanting to stop by. If you would like more info, contact me through this forum or my email.  [email protected]

Hi Terry,

I am outside Estes Park and I would interested in seeing the progress on your ICF/SIP.  Already dropped an e-mail to you the msn e-mail above, not sure if the spam filter got it or not. Contact: davekamholz @ yahoo . com (no spaces).

Thanks,
Dave
