Anatoliy,

To steal a signature from a very active and helpful member, if you're not building with SIPS...

The answer to your question is laid out in genuine scientific fashion by the U.S. Government, some of whose members did an excellent little study on the problem of innovation in building practices:

It's fairly well done, and you will notice that the main goals are suprisingly well met by SIPs construction practices/attributes, but I couldn't help but notice that the task force, which was trying to figure out why innovative building products took so long to gain market share, took 3 years+ to come up with the answers...

If that study doesn't answer your question, then at least you'll get a good laugh out of statements such as the following, from people who Just Wouldn't Believe. Like the famous U.S. Admiral William Leahy, speaking about the newfangled atomic bomb:

"That is the biggest fool thing we have ever done...The bomb will never go off, and I speak as an expert in explosives."

There are lots more here...

If you are going to stir up a hornets nest, make sure you have a lonnnnnnng stick...
