I thought I would post these two websites. They both have package prices for  SIP homes.

This is not a recomendation of the companies just information on pricing.

OSB SIPS  http://www.realwesternhomes.com/floorplans/p930b2.html

You can also see the actual homes Ashland and  Pinewood that were built by Marquis Construction

The Ashland was a steel SIP home however the Pinewood was an OSB home built in 2000 and 1998 respectively

Our offices are not far from the Structall plant, and I have used their panels many times. Structall panels are OVER priced and not as Structural as other Steel SIP Manufacturers out there.

Charles;

As I agree that Structall is overpriced and they are impossible to work with. As the former general manager of their housing division (1999-2001) I can assure you that their panels are no less structural than what you are currently using.
While I do not want to promote them, I am also against seeing false statements about them

I could not use, by their own admissiion, a single SIP on its side for a garage header. However, with other Manufacturers, I could and have done that. Seriously, would you not think that is because of the strength of the Panel. I am curious as to what you think. I have agreed with most of your posts Chris, and respect what you all do down there in Pasco. In fact I considered calling you all about a job last year before moving up the Coast in Alabama, and NOLA. If that is not a strength issue, what is it?
Thanks

Charles,

thanks for the flattery, but it seems that the issue is not panel span capabilities.
But it is an issue of using a panel for a header, not knowing what the span or loading was on the header , I have no way of determining if it was being mis-used or over spanned.

I have seen far too many jobs go bad when a product is not used as intended and that goes for conventional jobs as well.

I would only be second guessing their decision, but I will say that last time I had any dealings with them they did not have any on staff engineers, only glorified draftsmen.

Whomever is in their "engineering" department these days may not have been knowlegable enough to make the correct decision.

The bottom line is any steel panel that uses 26ga. steel, 1# EPS core and uses the same glue is going to perform the same.

The only difference in the buying decision is : quality, price, availability & service. In which Structall will fail on all points
