Does anyone know of a manufacturer of HUD code manufactured housing or ICC code modular housing who uses SIPs panels in their construction?  The only one that I know of is Barvista www.barvistahomes.com in Northern CO and they only use them for their gable ends.  Sure sounds like it would be a good idea to me!

At one time, Fisher SIPS (Louisville KY) did some modulars, but I think they stopped. Also, I found a small modular plant in Lewisburg TN to do a SIPS modular for one of my projects. I don't know if they are interested in doing more or not. (Geometric Builidng Systems, 931-270-8011)

I would guess that, it would be a higher-line company to do this rather than a 'price-point' company, and the higher line firms often allow a higher degree of flexibility to the customer (move this window; move this wall; etc.) so they would have to vertically integrate by building their own panels rather than buy them in standard sizes from a supplier. With the slow down in all building, this might be the opportune time for one of the better manufacturers to do it!
