My family (three teenage boys and wife) and I are building a cabin (small house) in the fabulous Colorado Rockies located at 10,300 feet in the little 1880 mining town of Montezuma. Last summer we built the ICF foundation and main floor deck. The wall and floor SIPS (part of the cabin is over piers) are in the basement ready to install when the snow melts, and roof SIPS are in the ordering process. We are looking for an experienced carpenter with SIP knowledge to help us out for the entire summer (June-August), possibly longer if mutually agreeable. We are offering a wage of $35/hour and a $700/mo housing allowance for renting (or at least partially covering the rent of) a small unit in one of the local ski area towns nearby (Keystone, Frisco, Dillon or Breckenridge). Keystone is 10 minutes away. Downtown Denver is about 85 miles and minutes away.
Applicant must have own insurance and tools, and most importantly, think that working with a Dad and his three kids sounds like fun, as opposed to a chore. I will be able to provide any other tools necessary. You can see our progress and pictures of the area at

This is your perfect chance to live and work in one of the most spectacular areas of the country during the cool, green summer months.
