If you are looking to build a commercial, residential, or even an industrial building you are able to recieve lots of tax credits towards that project. If you link to the energy star website below and scroll down towards the bottom you will see the savings/credits you are able to receive. Most SIP manufacturers are energy star partnered. You can also check out the actual irs forms and website for more information. Its a great way to save money on the building as well as heating and cooling. Does anyone have other ways of tax credits in their states?

My understanding is that for new construction the credits are still in effect. For remodeling existing homes they are expired, but there is a fair chance the credit will be extended.

There are no consumer tax credits for ENERGY STAR new homes
