It has been over 3 months since Rcontrol's rep Al Cain admitted  to owing us for overcharges yet no payment has been made.


Additionally the Better Business Bureau  responded on 11/24/2009:


"We have written to the business two times on your behalf and we have failed to receive a response to your complaint."

Find another  company you can trust!

Material arrived toenailed, ill fitted.The ends did not fit without a lot of additional work. Shop drawings fell through the cracks. Although this may have been their rep’s oversight I later learned they knew of major problems with this individual and my opinion is they should have warned us . For this reason I will reserve my personal opinion and right to NOT refer Rcontrol. When manufacturers continue to work with people that are not of high standards they drag down everyone else in the industry!

I live in, design, have built and am a rep for R-Control sips in Michigan.
Keep in mind there are 9+ R-Control plants around the country and each one is individually owned and operated.  I myself (as I posted before) have had issues with the mentioned parties but only in design and payment.  They did not purchase sips from me but direct from the local R-Control plant which also cut them off a year or so back.  Not sure what the issues are of course but if I can help in anyway let me know.  Like I said we design complete sip homes as well as supplying them.  Our policy is that the builder/supplier is supposed to review and sign the panel drawings before they go into production this minimizes issues on the job site.

Ps I like your promise  on “Our policy is that the builder/supplier is supposed to review and sign the panel drawings before they go into production “ this definitely fell through the cracks in Montana and with   (‘not so’) ez-build systems   !

 

Again if you are considering building with SIPs avoid these groups in my personal opinion and experience !

Fair enough John, all must try to weed out the people or companies that are hurting the industry as a whole.  Good luck with the situation you are in.  Its not a nice place to be. Hopefully you can get some of your monies back.
