Hi, we have SIP roofing panels that have splines on each end and a support board in the middle (24" o.c.). Prior to purchasing the house, there was a small roof leak that we asked the sellers to fix. The roofer put two new OSB boards in place. Now we are in the process of re-roofing the house and at a skylight there was a large area of rot, so the roofer cut out a 4x8' section of the SIP outside board and re-attached a new OSB board. I just wanted to make sure there are no structural issues doing this. Is this the typical approach for replacing rotted boards? Thanks.
