I have been noticing the different ways in which installers handle panels.  Some have plates with a pick eye which would require several screws into one layer of the osb, and I  have seen others that drill a whole all the way through the panel and insert a strap to handle the panels, and fill the whole later with foam.  Which is best?  Or is there even a better way to handle the panels?

We have used a large eye bolt donated to us by a local utility crew for several years. It works very well and the holes filled with foam have created no problems.
I understand that there is a new clamping device designed to work specifically for lifting SIPS. However, I can drill and fill a lot of holes for the $2000+ pricetag, and what happens if the clamp doesn't set properly? Think I will stick with my eye bolt for the time being.
